Chief Kenny Martins was born in Lagos on 15th January 1956, to
the family of Pastor J.O Martins and Late Mrs Susan Martins.   
He had his secondary school education at the famous Comprehensive High School, Aiyetoro,Yewa,Ogun State, the very first American type school in Nigeria.   

After his secondary school he proceeded to the United State of America to further his studies. On his return to Nigeria he joined his father’s printing business. Later he was posted to the premier High School Yaba Lagos also owned by his father to work as the School Administrator.      

After the long tutelage in the family business, Chief Kenny Martins established his own chain of businesses including vehicle distributorship, refined petroleum products marketing, shipping and aviation. 
During the transition programme of the Gen. Sani Abacha administration Chief Kenny Martins along with others established one of the recognized five Political Parties by the name of National Centre Party of Nigeria of which he was elected as the National Secretary.      

Also during the transition programme of Gen. Abdusalami Abubakar, Chief Kenny Martins and other Nigerians established another recognized Political Party by the name All Peoples Party (APP) now called ANPP after some mergers with other political parties. Also, during the Obasanjo's second comming as president of Nigeria, Kenny Martins along with his freinds and associates esthablished another political party by the name of National Democratic Party (NDP) of which he was elected as the National Publicity Secretary.       

As a result of his concern for the problem of security and Police reform in Nigeria Chief Kenny Martins and others established the Police Equipment Foundation of which he was appointed the National Co-Ordinator. The Foundation was ably piloted by Chief Martins leading to the raising of Billions of Naira both locally and internationally for the Police and Security Organizations in the Country.                                                                                          
He mobilized the entire country on the plight of the Nigeria Police,and other security services and advocated the allocation of more resources to the security sector toe enable them to perform optimally in thier constitutional responsibility of maintaning security in Nigeria in a modern and professional way. His organization purchased and donated of over 1,000 units of vehicles to the Police and other Security Agencies as well as purchase and donation of 54 housing units in Abuja to the Police, purchase and donation of 1,500 body armours and ballistic helmets, to mention but a few.
